NYX X BARBIE BEACH BABES POP-UP

 

Brief:

The brand was looking for an unmissable share-worthy activation that would reach as many people as possible, with conversation being as important as awareness. NYX Professional Make Up wanted to educate consumers on their new Barbie Movie collab with a pink takeover that passersby wouldn’t be able to stay away from.

Solution:

We created the Barbie Beach Babes experience to help the brand make a splash and dive into summer. We served up a slice of ‘pink paradise’ in busy Covent Garden making it the hottest place to celebrate this high-profile brand collab.

On the beach front there were a series of makeup stations so shoppers could trial the new products with NYX PMU makeup artists, discover their new hot summer look and purchase the collection through the Superdrug tills.

A host of shareable touchpoints and experiences were available to ensure the hottest looks our guests created fitted the NYX & Barbie style across socials. Guests who shared their new looks could win instant ‘merch’ rewards to drive content creation.

Guests could then cool down with slushies and chill out in the beach resort.
